Handcrafted Reclaimed Wooden Gifts and Wedding Stationery We are a small independent trader based in the central Scotland, specialising in making Reclaimed Wooden Gifts, including Scottish Wooden Candleholders, Wedding Gifts, Fifth Anniversary Gifts and New home Gifts.
I started collecting driftwood as a project for a university course looking at the therapeutic aspects of creativity . Needless to say - making items from pieces of wood found in forests or on the beach became a bit of a passion to me, and now I have been so lucky to turn this passion into a business. I've always enjoyed making things and continue to make cards and wedding stationery, all inspired by the lochs of Scotland, where the eye is drawn to different textures, colours and the ever changing light.
Our values are to be ethical creative, and unique with our wooden gifts, which are all made from reclaimed wood and driftwood sourced from the forests and shores around Scotland. The gifts don't cost the earth!
I draw inspiration and ideas from my love of the Scottish Countryside and Shoreline - it never being too hard to find natural beauty very close from our front door.
We also use beautiful reclaimed woods such as maple and sycamore, sourced from offcuts from furniture makers to produce affordable one of a kind which are extremely tactile, functional and pleasing to the eye and ultimately perfect to celebrate a 5th wedding anniversary, wedding, anniversary or new home gift. In fact - anything. As each piece is unique, you can rest assured you will be buying a one of a kind piece! This diversity of wood used has helped to evolve a distinctive and unique style and combines to result in the extensive range of unique wooden gifts available to buy.
