"We stayed in the hotel next door and ate here twice. The price was reasonable and the food was good. The amstel beer was very nice too."

"We kept driving past here and saying we need to try it, so we eventually did when we where on route to a well earned holiday. Glad we did, the place is lovely, very inviting and staff are great. My husband opted for the chopped steak burger which he said was fab! must have been as he didn't let me try any!!! I had the spicy bean burger which was delicious! we also ad the soup which was great and plentiful. Will definitely return to sample some more of the menu."

"The food and service was excellent.
The prawn starter was amazing, I was disappointed that they put curry oil on the scallops.
The pork medallions looked great, the chicken fajitas awesome, the steak and Ale pie was very very good but enough about the others dinner I thought the chicken was one of the best.
Now dessert; if you like ice cream this will blow your mind -10 inc sorbets and I'd recommend the chocolate.
The girls had sticky toffee pudding and the plates left for the kitchen empty! Now Norm had the waffle Apple pie and it was delicious. One recommendation - serve the real ice cream with the sticky toffee pudding; off the ice cream menu."
